Social Magnet Productions Inc. is pleased to present Amuse on behalf of the Okanagan Social and Cultural Society in support of the Okanagan Chefs Association. You will find many of the OCA’s highly regarded and talented chef members showcasing their culinary expertise at Amuse.
The Okanagan Chefs Association is a member of the Canadian Culinary Federation and the World Association of Chefs Society. The OCA is not-for-profit society managed by a local elected Board of Directors. Their goal is to promote professionalism in the food service industry, networking opportunities for chefs and cooks and to educate their members and the public on new developments in the industry. The OCA places a high value on supporting and mentoring junior chefs, as well as providing bursaries which foster and encourage culinary education.

Have you been to a charity gala? Chefs will be there too, donating their time, talent and skills serving mouthwatering food likely prepared with donated products from generous suppliers. Has your son or daughter sold raffle tickets with a prize of a lavish dinner or a gift certificate to one of your favorite hot spots? The prizes have probably been donated by a local Chef or restaurant. OCA members assemble Christmas hampers for the Kelowna Food Bank and raises funds through event for Kelowna Gospel Mission, CCS, KGH Foundation and more.

Amuse has proudly announced their $30,000 donation to the Okanagan Chefs Association. The association’s vision is parallel with that of Amus’, and it aims at bringing recognition for this area as a culinary destination while showcasing local talent in cooking cuisine from all around Canada .
Amuse up’d its philanthropic community spirit by proudly supporting the Kelowna Child Advocacy Centre and Central Okanagan Foodbank with donations of $14,910 to these important charities!
